The Graduate Education Program is excited to welcome Mark Bjornsen to serve as the new Admission Representative. Mark will be working with prospective students for the M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction and M.A. in Teaching programs.

Mark recently moved to Arkansas from Northern Virginia and has 19 years of experience in education. He has worked as a classroom teacher, administrator, and coach.

“I often began my day teaching pre-kindergarten and finished my day playing soccer with college athletes. My soccer playing days have passed, but I still specialize in training goalkeepers,” said Mark.

Mark learned of JBU through his daughter’s college search. She ultimately decided on JBU because of its Christian values, credibility, and competitive volleyball program.

“As parents, my wife and I have been impressed with everything JBU has to offer our daughter. The university made and maintained such an excellent impression, that my wife and I decided to relocate halfway across the country to participate in JBU’s mission.”

We are thankful to have Mark on board to serve our current and future Graduate Education students.
