This weekend, during 2013 homecoming festivities, JBU Graduate Counseling hosted an Open House and Dessert Reception at the new CARE Clinic in Siloam Springs. About 75 alumni, future alumni and prospective students attended the event and toured the new facility.
The CARE Clinic was designed to give JBU's Graduate Counseling students the opportunity for further training and supervision by offering affordable counseling available to the community. In addition to the new facility in Siloam Springs, there are CARE Clinics at the JBU Fort Smith Center and the JBU Rogers Center. Services are also available at Cross Church in Springdale and Cross Church Pinnacle Hills.
Unique to the Siloam Springs location are five play therapy suites – located in the new Tucker Hill Play Therapy Wing – which are available for students who are training in JBU's Play Therapy program.
