Thank you for considering John Brown University in your pursuit for higher education. JBU offers excellent graduate programs that will provide you a high quality academic experience with a curriculum focused on Christian values.

Admissions Procedures

Once you have become familiar with the degree requirements of the program in which you are interested and with the graduate admission requirements, take the following steps to apply for admission:

• Complete the online application form. You may pay the $35 application fee by credit card or send a check to the Graduate Admissions Office.
• Along with your application, write an essay describing your professional plans and reason for seeking acceptance into the program (200 words).
• Send a transcript request form to each college and/or university previously attended. Check with the registrar at each institution for the appropriate transcript fee.

• Request three letters of recommendation.

• Schedule a date to take your entrance exam.

• International students have additional requirements that are outlined in the JBU catalog.
• All applicants please refer to the John Brown University Catalog, pages 317-343, for details on current graduate admissions requirements.
• MBA students must submit a brief résumé of work experience to the Graduate Admissions Office.

We are now offering a web-based application to make our application process as easy and convenient as possible for you. You may apply at anytime, however, you can submit an application only one time through this process. If you have updates to any information you have submitted, please contact Graduate Admission immediately. Applications submitted electronically receive the same consideration as applications submitted on paper.

Please note the following:

1. Payment
   You have two options for paying your application fee. You may complete and submit your application online and send us a check by mail, or you may pay by credit card via our secure server. If you choose to pay by credit card, you will be asked to confirm your payment information before submitting it. Be sure to click the "submit payment now" button on the payment confirmation screen to submit your payment.
   
2. Your Privacy
   We take your privacy very seriously and keep your application information confidential according to JBU policy. You may read our entire privacy policy if you want more details.
   
3. Security
   All information you supply to JBU through the online application for admission, including any credit card information, is protected by industry-standard encryption technology. Please see our security page for more information.
4. Application Status
   Once you have submitted your application, you will receive confirmation e-mails verifying that your application has been received and confirming your payment method. Please contact Graduate Admissions with any additional questions you may have at (866) 232-4723 or grad@jbu.edu.
