Admissions Procedures

Complete the online application. You may pay the $35 application fee by credit card or send a check to the Graduate Admissions Office.
Send a transcript request form to each college and/or university previously attended. Check with the registrar at each institution for the appropriate transcript fee.
Entrance Exam for Business - Students with a cumulative 3.0 undergraduate GPA (based on GPA average of all institutions attended), do NOT need to take an entrance exam. If the cumulative GPA is less than a 3.0, students will need to take the GRE, MAT, or GMAT. Minimum scores for each exam vary according to programs.
Entrance Exam for Counseling Program: take the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) and have a combined score of 1,000 or better.
Complete additional admissions requirements as required by program. Please visit the program pages for Graduate Business, Graduate Counseling, or to review specific requirements for your degree.
International students have additional requirements that are outlined in the JBU catalog.

You may complete and submit your application online and pay by credit card via our secure server. Be sure to click the "submit payment now" button on the payment confirmation screen to submit your payment.

Application Status
Once you have submitted your application, you will receive confirmation e-mails verifying that your application has been received and confirming your payment method. Please contact Graduate Admissions with any additional questions you may have at 866-Be-A-Grad or grad@jbu.edu.

If you prefer, you can print a complete application packet. The packet includes instructions for the application process, and other necessary forms to be completed.
