Northslope Apartments

With the continual growth of the student body and the recent demolition of the Broadhurst Village, JBU constructed two 11,500 sq. ft. apartment buildings for 90 students. This $3 million project also provides comfortable housing for the professional and academic conferences and camps JBU hosts during the summer.

Due to the construction of the Berry Performing Arts Center in 2010 and the Balzer Technology Center in 2011, fifteen duplex housing units on campus were demolished, reducing JBU’s housing capacity by approximately 90 students.

The Northslope Apartments provide JBU upperclassmen, non-traditional students and married students a great transitional, independent living experience while maintaining on-campus convenience to classes and community activities.

Each apartment has two bedrooms each sleeping two students, two bathrooms, a full kitchen and a living area. Ninety students now call the Northslope Apartments home.

Each summer JBU hosts hundreds of guests for summer camps, conferences, intensives and seminars. The Northslope Apartments provide a comfortable, quiet housing option for professional and adult summer guests.
