JBU alumni Frank and Ardith Endres created The Frank and Ardith Endres Endowed Scholarship because they loved their time at JBU and living in the Ozarks.  Frank and Ardith graduated from JBU in 1960.  Frank studied electrical engineering and following graduation volunteered for one year at Puerto Rico Christian Radio Station WIVV as station engineer.  After his time in Puerto Rico, Frank returned to his home state of California where he was hired by and worked for North American Aviation (now Rockwell International) for 30 years.  Ardith was a secretarial science major.  Following graduation, she served as John Brown, Jr.'s secretary.  Ardith held this position until 1966 when she and Frank were married in the Cathedral of the Ozarks.  The Endres have two daughters, Karen and Laurie, who also chose to attend JBU.  Frank and Ardith made their home in Garden Grove, California.
