Kenneth C. Naramore Memorial Endowed Scholarship

After attending JBU in 1938 and 1939, Kenneth C. Naramore served in the U.S. Marines Corps in WWII and then began working for Stockmen’s Bank in Gillette, Wyoming, where he served as bank president for nearly 20 years. Ken actively supported JBU and the founder’s mission by serving on the board of trustees from 1961 through 1985. During his years as trustee, he used his extensive banking and business expertise to help JBU receive its accreditation in 1962. Ken was highly respected by all who knew him. His three children, as well as six of his grandchildren, attended John Brown University. One granddaughter taught at JBU.
