Dear Friends of JBU,
Greetings. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about the wonderful ways that God is at work in the lives of students at John Brown University. We have grown in enrollment, facilities, and academic excellence at JBU, for which we are deeply grateful, and we have not lost sight of our guiding principle of “Christ Over All,” to which we remain deeply committed.

Clearly one of the most important ways that we can advance JBU’s mission is through raising endowment funds to support student scholarships and excellent programs on campus. We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming response of JBU alumni and friends to the recently completed $10 million endowment scholarship challenge. The success of that challenge has greatly enhanced our ability to offer competitive student scholarships and has led to record growth in enrollment and retention.
I am pleased to announce that JBU has received a new challenge grant of $10 million to raise a total of $20 million in endowment for scholarships and programs – a new $20 Million Challenge. This window of opportunity comes at a critical time in the university’s history as we seek to deepen our support for students and to enhance the excellence of our spiritual and academic programs. I invite you to read on and discover the various ways you might get involved in JBU’s new $20 Million Challenge.
I appreciate you considering our request to become a partner with JBU in the educating of students to honor God and serve others. It is a great calling to work with young people, and we could not do it without you. Thank you for your help.
Godspeed,
Dr. Charles W. Pollard
President, John Brown University
