Cathedral Group Project
John Brown University is happy to announce that the Cathedral Group Project has been successfully completed. Thanks to the generous involvement of our alumni and friends these buildings will serve generations to come at JBU.
In 2007, JBU began preparing to complete the founder's original
vision for the Cathedral Group by sealing and cladding the buildings'
exterior walls with limestone.Today all three buildings, including the Art, Engineering, and Cathedral of the Ozarks, are stronger, reliable buildings because of this addition.
This $6.1 million project also replaced the roofs on all three
buildings as well as renovated and updated the interiors of the
Cathedral and the Engineering building.

"Within the walls
of these buildings, JBU lives out its spiritual, academic, and civic commitments
by offering collective worship, public debate and performance, class-room instruction,
student and faculty research, and personal mentoring. Preserving these facilities
helps us to preserve our mission."
