President Chip Pollard
Dr. Pollard has been the president of JBU since 2004. Prior to coming to JBU, he taught English at Calvin College and practiced law in Chicago.

James Choung, Spiritual Renewal Week
James Choung serves as the national director of InterVarsity Asian American Ministries, and is an ordained minister of the Vineyard USA. He has written True Story: A Christianity Worth Believing In and Real Life: A Christianity Worth Living Out. He has taught at Bethel Seminary San Diego and his work has been featured in many publications, including Christianity Today and Leadership Journal.

Mark Soderquist and Derrick Rollerson
Mark Soderquist is the executive director of Westlawn Youth Network and serves as one of the pastors of Westlawn Gospel Chapel in Chicago. In 1990 he founded Urban & Ethnic Ministries, an organization committed to working in partnership with ethnic churches. Derrick Rollerson is the president and founder of Westlawn Youth Network and also serves as the executive pastor of Westlawn Gospel Chapel.

Rod Reed
Dr. Reed has been the chaplain at JBU since 2008. He also teaches classes in spiritual formation and leadership.

Jen Edwards
Jen Edwards has taught worship ministries at JBU since 2009. She also leads the choir at her church.

Eric Samuel Timm
Rev. Eric Samuel Timm is part artist and part speaker, performing for thousands each year. He is sought after for his ability to present God’s truth in ways that are attractive both to the church and to people who aren’t in a current relationship with Christ. Eric, founder of No One Underground, resides in Minnesota with his family, creating with purpose.

Cary Balzer
Dr. Balzer is the director of faculty development and teaches courses in theology and church history.

Bob Goff, Leadership Week
Bob Goff is an attorney and New York Times best-selling author of Love Does. He is founder of Restore International, a non-profit human rights organization operating in Uganda and India. Additionally, he serves as the honorary consul for the Republic of Uganda to the United States, and is an adjunct professor at both Pepperdine Law School and Point Loma Nazarene University. He comes as a guest of The Soderquist Center for Leadership & Ethics.

Jon Acuff, Leadership Week
Jon Acuff has contributed to CNN.com, speaks nationally on a variety of subjects, and is the author of Quitter; Gazelles, Baby Steps and 37 Other Things Dave Ramsey Taught Me About Debt; and Stuff Christians Like. He lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife and two daughters. He comes as a guest of The Soderquist Center for Leadership & Ethics.

Tracy Balzer
Tracy Balzer is the director of Christian formation and an assistant professor of biblical studies. She also leads JBU's annual Summer Mission to Ireland.

Hadden Wilson
Hadden Wilson lives in Northern Ireland where he is a faculty member of JBU’s Irish Studies program. Previously he served for fifteen years as Pastor of Ballynahinch Baptist Church. He and his wife Betty have also spent a year at JBU serving as Missionaries in Residence.

Luke Theimer
Luke Theimer was chosen to speak in chapel because of his excellent work in JBU's Fall 2012 preaching class taught by Dr. Jason Lanker. Luke is a junior majoring in Family and Human Services, and is a member of the JBU men's soccer team.

Lisa Corry
Dr. Corry is the assistant director of discipleship. She has worked at JBU two different times for a total of eight years. She also teaches classes in the biblical studies division.

Moffat Zimba
Moffat Zimba is the president of Northrise University. Moffat and his wife Doreen founded the university in 2004. Located in Ndola, Zambia, Northrise is the first nationally recognized and accredited private university in Zambia, with an enrollment of over 500 students in five undergraduate degrees and a Master of Business Administration.

Joe White
Joe White has a deep passion for pointing kids to Christ through Christian sports camping. He and his wife Debbie Jo have worked together to see Kanakuk Kamps grow into nine unique Kamps and have also founded Kids Across America for inner-city kids. Joe has written nineteen books and speaks across the country.

Chad Raith
Dr. Raith is in his first year as assistant professor at JBU, teaching classes in religion and philosophy.

Jay Bruce
Dr. Bruce has taught at JBU since 2008. He is an assistant professor of philosophy.

Mandy Moore
Dr. Moore has taught at JBU since 2006. She is an assistant professor of business and leads the First-Year Experience program.

Becky Lambert
Dr. Lambert has worked at JBU in a variety of roles since 2000. She currently serves as the registrar and associate dean of academic services.
