Jerry Geisler is a security careerist with more than 20 years of experience. He has global responsibility for ensuring organizational information security posture and for safeguarding ongoing IT operations for a $442 billion company operating in 27 countries with more than 2.2 million employees worldwide.
During his tenure Jerry has built programs in multiple technology disciplines and has ongoing responsibility for incident response, network and digital forensics, enterprise scanning and penetration testing, vulnerability management, eDiscovery, data assurance and cyber intelligence. Additionally he has oversight of a globally focused security operations center as well as several operational information security teams.
Prior to joining Walmart Jerry served in the United States Marine Corps. He is a member of the High Tech Crime Investigators Association, American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors, Security for Business Innovation Council, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, and the FBI's InfraGard.
Jerry holds a Master of Science degree as well as an MBA. He is an advisory board member of the National STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Consortium (NSC) and is an adjunct professor with the John Brown University Graduate School of Business.
