EDC Alum Helping Those in Need

Last week, KNWA featured a heartwarming story about a small primary school class doing big things for their community.

That class at Elkins Primary School is taught by Melissa Eaton, a 2009 graduate of the EDC program. She helped her students write to local business leaders to ensure that every student in their district has a merry Christmas. Eaton's students raised $1,500 and collected toys and a cafeteria full of food for local students in need.
