Students interested in the new Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship, funded by the Arkansas lottery, should visit the Arkansas Department of Higher Education website to obtain more information and to access the application. Be sure to complete the ADHE online application and the 2010-11 FAFSA before June 1, 2010. The amounts of the scholarship have not yet been determined.

The state of Arkansas will notify recipients directly during July. Then, in August, the state will send a roster to JBU so that we can add this aid item to each recipient’s 2010-11 award package. If you have questions during the application process, call ADHE at 800-54-STUDY or 501-371-2050.
