Tomorrow marks the 90th birthday of John Brown University. On Sept. 29, 1919 Southwestern College Institute, which later became JBU, held class for the first time. The school at that time consisted of one building, seventy students and a handful of teachers.
Many things have changed in the past nine decades. We have more buildings, additional locations, and many more faculty and students, but one thing remains the same: our mission to educating the whole person -- head, heart, hand.
