John Brown University has joined four other northwest Arkansas higher education institutions, the Northwest Arkansas Council, and the five major NWA Chambers of Commerce to launch Graduate NWA, a website designed to reach out to adults in the area who have earned college hours but never completed a degree.
According to research, over one-fifth of the population in northwest Arkansas qualify as stop-outs - those who have some college, but no degree. The aim of this project is to provide a clearinghouse for those individuals to research degree options on a website that's targeted to adult students. A marketing campaign to support the website will launch soon.
