One of my favorite things about working in the Advance Program is being there for the first night of class. On Monday I met the new students in WM5 (pictured), and got to hear first-hand the reasons they were finishing their degree. Many of them wanted to get a bachelor's degree before their kids were ready for college. Some were ready to complete the goal they set for themselves many years ago. But all of them had one thing in common: the desire to improve their lives through education.
Tonight Kent and Jennifer will be in Rogers to welcome NW70, and Ann will be in Hot Springs to say hello to HS10. We're so glad they've all chosen JBU to finish their degrees.
So welcome to the 80 new students starting the Advance Program this week. We're praying for you!
