Here are the steps to take to have a fire in the fire ring by the intramural parking lot. This process can take up to a week, so you should allow enough time for JBU and the Fire Marshal to review your request without being rushed.
You will need to complete all required documentation for the Siloam Springs Fire Department and send to the Fire Marshal, Todd Colvin at email@example.com. This documentation includes:
1. Outside Burning Request Form: You can find this form here.
2. Letter of Explanation: This letter should be a formal letter in business format. Style it to Chief Neely of the SSFD and include the details/plans for the overall event.
3. Authorization Letter from the Registered Property Owner (JBU): Send the completed Outside Burning Request Form and Letter of Explanation to SWanzer@jbu.edu for review. Once your packet is approved, you will receive a JBU letter of authorization.

After you receive an approval from the Fire Marshal, you will then need to contact Grounds Crew at WorkReq@jbu.edu and make arrangements to use some water barrels to put out your fire at the conclusion of your event.
