J. Alvin Brown Hall
J. Alvin Brown Hall houses 204 male students.
Rather than traditional long hall corridors, J. Alvin has 14 suites, each consisting of six to 8 rooms and a community bathroom located around a common "living room" area. This structure creates an excellent dynamic for building friendships. All rooms, with the exception of 8 singles and 18 triples, are double occupancy.
J. Alvin is known for its large multi-purpose atrium that hosts university events throughout the year.
In J. Alvin, there is also 2 computer labs, a study room, several study areas with white boards, a t.v. lounge/area, a large projector and screen to watch the big game, a kitchen and dining area, a prayer room, a private weight room and rock climbing wall where residents can work-out, and a 4-level elevator.
As the only all-male hall on-campus, your experience in J. Alvin will certainly be full of energy and rich in tradition.
