NOSU responded with a mini run to cut the deficit down to 10, 38-48, after a Claudia Vasquez freethrow, but JBU quickly countered and pushed it back to 16, 59-43, with under 2:00 minutes left. That gave JBU the cushion to hold on for the nine point win.

For NOSU, they finished 17-of-55 (31%) on the night but also struggled from long range only hitting 25% (7-of-28) of their attempts.
