Girls Ages 6-9 Fundamentals Camp (June 21-24)

 

When:  June 21 - 24, 9am - noon

 

Where:  Murray Sells Gymnasium and Walton Lifetime Health Complex

 

Cost:  $65.00

 

Staff:  Coach Jeff Soderquist - Head Women's Basketball Coach at John Brown University and Coach Von Eshnaur - Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at John Brown University.  As well as current JBU Golden Eagle basketball players.

 

Camp Overview:  The camp is designed to help introduce the game of basketball in a fun and encouraging atmosphere.  We begin by teaching the basic fundamentals of dribbling, passing, catching, shooting, and defense.  The players will be split into teams and have opportunity to play games each day.  Each player will receive camp T-shirt and basketball.

 

What to bring:  Please bring non-black soled court shoes.  There will be a camp bank available for the concession stand.

 

Insurance and Physical:  All campers will be covered by a supplemental insurance policy provided by the camp.  Each applicant must have a physical.  Certification of this physical must be presented when the camper reports.
