Greetings from John Brown University! Thank you for your interest in the John Brown University Volleyball Program.

John Brown is a non-denominational Christian college with approximately 2,000 students. The athletic teams participate in the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) and are members of the Sooner Athletic Conference. We have a strong program, recording 20 or more wins and qualifying for Regional playoffs in nine of the last ten years. In 2004 and 2005, the team set records for wins, recording 37 in ’04 and 33 in ’05! The 2006 season ended with a loss in the Region finals, but not before going 10-0 in conference play!

We do offer volleyball scholarships that are strictly based on athletic ability. I would appreciate you sending me a video of one of your matches, or a video of your fundamental skills. Once I receive this video, I can review the possibility of your future as a Golden Eagle Volleyball Player. Campus visits are a very important part of choosing a college. This will allow you to see the facilities, meet with professors in your interest area and meet and play with the current volleyball team. I usually begin scheduling campus visits during the first two weeks of December. We also have prospective players visit us in January and February.
