Recruiting
Thank you for your interest in John Brown University and the Golden Eagles' Volleyball program.
John Brown University is a non-denominational Christian college with just over 2,000 students. The athletic teams participate in the NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) and are members of one of the toughest conferences in country, the Sooner Athletic Conference. The 2012 team finished 22-16 overall. Our program has a strong history - recording 20 or more wins in twelve of the last fifteen years. If you are interested in our history, please check out the "awards" link on our website. John Brown University offers volleyball positions and scholarships based on the athletic ability of the player to impact our team.
In addition to hard work in the game, the Golden Eagles pride themselves on being a close family of players that support one another academically and spiritually. We will be traveling to Ugand this summer (2013) for a missions trip. Our team also enjoys participating in community service, Operation Christmas Child, raising funds for the SideOut Foundation, in addition to a variety of other service projects. Collectively, the 2011 Golden Eagles achieved above a 3.3 GPA average and received the AVCA Academic Team Award.
If you would like to be considered for a position with the Lady Golden Eagles, please follow these steps:
