Simeon Hinsey enters his second year as Sports Information Director for John Brown University. With a year of experience under his belt, the former John Brown athlete looks ahead for another great season of Golden Eagle athletics.

Hinsey, a former JBU basketball player, graduated with double majors in Digital Media and Broadcasting in 2002 before moving on to a career in the media industry. Before returning to John Brown in 2006, he served as photojournalist, production assistant, and technical director for CBS affiliate, KFSM-TV Channel 5, in Fayetteville, Arkansas. At the same time, he also completed his master's degree in sports management from California University of Pennsylvania.

Along with his duties as Sports Information Director, Hinsey also serves as Coordinator of Recreational Activities which includes intramurals and club sports.
