Siloam Springs, Ark. (April 29, 2010) — During the annual JBU Athletics Convocation, senior basketball player Davaughn Jackson and sophomore women’s soccer player Emily Anderson were named the Outstanding Male and Female Athletes of the Year.

Senior men’s soccer player Ryan Helmer and sophomore volleyball player Allie Rankin were named Male and Female Champions of Character.

To be a John Brown University Scholar Athlete, each student must be a junior or senior that maintains a minimum grade point average of 3.2. To be a NAIA Scholar Athlete, each student must be a junior or senior that maintains a minimum grade point average of 3.5. The list of JBU and NAIA scholar athletes is below.
