Early Childhood Education
Bachelor of Science in Education for Early Childhood Education (B.S.E.)
Program Overview
John Brown University’s bachelor’s degree completion program in education is a two-year program designed to provide professional preparation to adult students who plan to teach preschool through fourth grade in public or private schools. Students spend the final 12 weeks of the program teaching as student interns in a local school. Students will not be able to work during this time due to the demand of the internship program. Successful completion of the teacher education program at JBU provides students with a Bachelor of Science in Education and prepares the teacher candidates for an initial P-4 level license in Arkansas.
