Verification

If you are selected for verification by the US Department of Education, an asterisk (*) will appear next to your EFC on the Student Aid Report. The school also has the authority to select a FASFA for verification.

Verification checks the accuracy of information on the FASFA against actual tax return(s).

If you are selected for verification the following documents will be requested:

• Parent and student tax returns (signed)
• A signed JBU verification form
• W-2's and Schedules C, C-EZ, and F may be requested.
