Where are you born?
Little Rock, Arkansas
Why did you choose JBU?
I was looking for a college with a strong radio broadcasting
program. Being from Arkansas, I was familiar with JBU and
their on-campus radio station KLRC. So I just put two-and-two
together; combining the strong radio emphasis with a strong
Christian emphasis.
What are your hobbies?
I love sports…playing, watching, just anything that has to do with
sports. Being from Arkansas, I'm a huge Razorbacks fan. But my
favorite teams span the country: Philadelphia Phillies, Washington
Redskins, Chicago Bulls, and the Dallas Stars. If I'm not watching
ESPN, I'm usually watching movies or hanging out with some friends
and drinking coffee.
What is your favorite Bible verse?
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Where is your favorite place to hang out in Northwest Arkansas?
In Razorback Stadium during a football game...or pretty much any coffee shop.
What is your favorite movie?
I love Band of Brothers, but that's actually a miniseries. My all-time
favorites are the classics from the 80s: Red Dawn, The Goonies, Lost Boys, etc...
Why did you choose to work in Admissions?
I had nothing but great experiences at JBU and I decided that I wanted to give
high school students the same opportunity that I had at JBU.
What is the name of your spouse and children?
No spouse…so obviously no children either. Not even a pet. But my parents live in
Fayetteville with my youngest brother. My older brother and his wife live in
Arlington, Texas and my older sister and her husband and kids live in Houston.
What deodorant do you use?
Old Spice Pure Sport
