Academic Visitation Camp

July 12-17, 2009

In an attempt to promote the academic experience of John Brown University to prospective students in a tangible way, the AVC will allow students in the summer between their junior and senior year to visit and stay on our campus for one week. During this time, we will:

• Introduce 50 students (25 males, 25 females) to our university.
• Provide a challenging academic experience for students. Students will take the course Hollywood Films and Christian Critique and leave with 3 hours of general college credit.
• Allow students an opportunity to interact with faculty. It will also feature five guest faculty for mini-lectures.
• Build community between the camp attendees.
