Campus Wide Services
The services of the Media Center are available to all JBU faculty and students for both academic and personal projects. Personnel are always available to help with equipment.
The Media Services has placed TV/VCR units and Overhead Projectors in each classroom. Students and faculty may request additional units as needed. High tech carts with LCD projectors and computers are also available for presentations in classrooms.
Video cameras are available for class assignments. We also have video editing equipment available in the Media Center. When requested, Media Services will video tape class sessions and special academic presentations.
Sound reinforcement for academic and co-curricular functions may be requested. Sound systems are available to meet most needs on campus.
Slide projectors may be checked out from the Media Center. A copy stand is located in the Media Center. With this equipment students and faculty can make slides from photographic prints or printed pictures. We can supply a camera or they may use their own.
Tape recorders and mics may be checked out for class related projects.
Opaque projectors are available for use in the media center. With this equipment students can enlarge a printed drawing for hand copying.
Equipment is available for roll lamination, press lamination and dry mounting.
