Brian Eichelberger joined the Natural Science Division faculty in 2008. As Assistant Professor of Chemistry Dr. Eichelberger's course schedule includes Fundamentals of Chemistry, General Chemistry, Statistics with Computer Applications, and Physical Chemistry.

Dr. Eichelberger enjoys the small class sizes at JBU and utilizes the close interaction to relay the concept "good" science to future scientists. He likes keeps his classes entertaining and relevant to real-world situations, while maintaining high standards for academic excellence and achievement.

Rivaling his passion for science is Dr. Eichelberger's passion for music. He plays several instruments, as well as writes his own music. When asked what other job he might be doing if he had not become a professor he said, "Realistically, I'd be working in a research lab to support my wife and small son. In my heart, though, I'd be playing/writing music if it could feed my family."
