Giving Voice: a Festival of Writing and the Arts
Each spring, John Brown University presents "Giving Voice: a Festival of Writing and the Arts." Writers, artists, and musicians who create their work from a Christian world view are invited to campus for readings, workshops, and informal gatherings. JBU English students have the opportunity to hear some of the best contemporary writers read and discuss their work. The students also have an opportunity to have lunch with the writers and have student work critiqued by the writers in the Creative Writing workshop. One day of the festival is dedicated to serving high school students in our region. Hundreds of students come to campus for writing workshops and readings.

English Honors Society - Sigma Tau Delta

Over the years, the English Honors Society, Sigma Tau Delta, has sponsored numerous opportunities on and off campus to foster a culture of arts and intellectual inquiry.
