Industry Experience:

  • estimator, assisted in developing estimates for projects costing up to $100 million
  • surveyor, completing over 200 projects up to 275 acres each
  • field supervisor, overseeing a four-unit hospital in Zaire
  • cost engineer, reporting labor costs on a $300 million paper mill expansion
  • field engineer, supervising excavation and construction surveying for a $20 million petrochemical plant
  • construction engineer, overseeing survey of a $40 million manufacturing plant
  • builder, constructing three homes and additions
  • draftsman, developing steel working drawings for 35,000 sq. ft. building

Accomplishments:

  • assisted in developing the first Arkansas AIC Constructor-for-a-Day program in 1990
  • led mission teams doing a variety of construction-related work including mapping,
  • roofing, renovation, surveying, drywall installation, masonry work and road construction
  • assisted in developing guidelines for the R-5 Affordable Housing Zone and subdivision checklist
  • winner of national surveying map competition
