The Worship Ministry Ensemble provides a unique opportunity for worship ministry majors. Students in the group not only participate by playing in the ensemble, but they also get to develop their leadership skills by creating and teaching set lists. Each week the rehearsal material is decided by two different worship ministry majors. Those students then work through the material with the ensemble while the instructor provides feedback on leadership techniques. At the conclusion of the semester, most ensemble members are incorporated into the JBU Chapel ensemble and allowed to lead the student body in worship.
In Fall 2006, the Worship Ministry Ensemble began traveling with JBU Admissions, focusing on the Northwest Arkansas and Tulsa, OK regions. For more information about the ensemble or scheduling a worship service, contact Kayla White (kwhite@jbu.edu).
