Journalism operates The Threefold Advocate

The objectives of the Department of Journalism are to give students broad training in print journalism or public relations and to cultivate awareness of the media’s responsibility to the public. As in all areas of this Division, emphasis is placed on the need for creative Christian leadership within all print media.

Practical experience is a key to success in this major, and students in Journalism programs at John Brown University will find opportunity for experience in a number of places: student newspaper, area newspapers, and University publications.
