Education is a profession; Christian education is a ministry as well as a profession. That's why I am at John Brown University.

JBU is a good place to minister to young people, to hopefully have a positive impact on their Christian walk, perhaps even lead someone to Christ.

Because most JBU students live on campus, there is a family atmosphere that lends itself to close relationships between faculty and students. Students get encouragement they wouldn't get on most campuses. I appreciate and enjoy this aspect of JBU campus life. It not only promotes a more effective learning environment, it just simply makes you feel good.
