Department of Intercultural Studies
Why Intercultural Studies?
Globalization impacts all of us. When we travel abroad, we often forget that we have “packed” our cultural values. When people come to the U.S. from India, Mexico or South Korea, they, too, have “packed” their cultural values. Whether we stay home or travel abroad, we will encounter diverse people with increasing frequency. Globalization is not a new concept for the Christian. God has always desired to bless all peoples and invites us to participate with him in blessing the nations. The ICS program prepares you to understand, analyze and work in different cultural settings from both a social and Christian perspective.
