Student Support Services
Academic Assistance
The Academic Assistance office has exactly that to offer - assistance with any and all Academic needs! We can assist in areas including (but not limited to):
- Time Management
- Organizational Skills
- Setting Goals
- Finding your Learning Style
- Listening Skills
- Note-taking
- Test Preparation
- Test Anxiety
- Test Taking Strategies
- Memory Strategies
- Reading Strategies
- General Study Skills
It is also through this office that professors can communicate their needs for a class tutor. We employ students recommended by the professor to tutor groups of students from a particular class at set times each week throughout the semester.
The Academic Assistance Coordinator is Stephen Sbanotto. His office is located in L151.
